Building Career Ladder Opportunities For Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) - One of the pilot programs recently launched by Capital Workforce Partners is "Bridges to Health Care Training," a 60-week academic, communications and intensive support program assisting 25 currently working CNAs in identifying and providing greater access to career growth opportunities in the Allied Health field. Classes began on January 1, 2005 and are progressing well. Partners integral to the success of this program are Capital Community College, Capitol Region Education Council, and the 1199 Training and Upgrading Fund. |
