The Summer Youth Employment and Learning Program gives youths opportunities for job readiness, leadership and decision making.
The 2010 program was funded by the State of Connecticut - Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) with leveraged funds from select municipalities and foundations. 2011 Summer Youth Employment Application Now Available - Deadline - May 31st - Are you or a family member eligible? Applicants must be:
- In middle or high school
- At least age 14 by July 1st, 2011
- Receiving, or eligible for, free or reduced lunch at school
- A resident of North Central CT
- The entire application must be completed.
Download the application. Mail completed applications to the 2011 Future Workforce Service Provider Partner near to you (click or scroll down for the list).

- We cannot guarantee all applicants will be assigned a work and learn opportunity.
- We ask that you continue to continue to advocate for youth employment with your legislators and U.S. Congressional delegation.
