“Connecticut’s Workforce Challenge:  Supplying the Demand”
What:          A policy forum for Connecticut’s elected officials, business leaders, educators, and workforce experts
When:         Friday, November 18, 2005           8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Where:        Saint Clement’s Castle, Portland, CT (near Middletown)
Why:

  • Connecticut is facing a skilled worker shortage that threatens the state’s competitive position

10:30-12:00  CEO Panel:  Steve Gunderson, a veteran of 16 years in Congress will lead a panel of 5 chief executives from premiere CT companies in an analysis of the employment, educational, and economic challenges of remaining competitive in the global marketplace
