Congressman John Larson to tour Hartford CT Works Center
Celebration of ‘One-Stop Week’ to focus on employment resources in area
Hartford– U.S. Rep. John B. Larson will join local officials for “National One-Stop Week,” a focus on the workforce resources available to job seekers and employers in the region. As part of “One-Stop Week,” Larson will tour the town’s CT Works One-Stop Career Center and meet with local residents and employers who have successfully utilized the Center and learn about its critical contribution to the economic development in the region.
The CT Works One-Stop Career Centers are a partnership between Capital Workforce Partners and the state Department of Labor, and offer job seekers employment resources, including workshops, career guidance and access to occupational skills training. The centers also offer employers assistance in recruiting, screening and hiring new employees.

About the CT Works One-Stop Career Centers
At the CT Works One-Stop Career Center, jobseekers receive assistance with finding a job through workshops, career guidance, and access to occupational skills training. Employers can also receive assistance in recruiting, screening and hiring new employees through the Business Services Unit. The CT Works One-Stop Career Centers are made possible through a partnership between Capital Workforce Partners and the CT Department of Labor. Other centers in the Capital region include those in Hartford, East Hartford, New Britain, Bristol and Manchester. |
