May 8, 2013 - Put Your Skills to the Test - Career Connections students and invited guests, Pathways to Technology, participated in the work readiness Career Competencies based competition, Skills Challenge.
This year's events included: Resume/Cover Letter & Personal Interview, Extemporaneous Speaking, Personal Qualities, Poetry, Career Connections Jeopardy, and a Dress for Success Fashion Show.
The event, sponsored by Aetna, took place in the Aetna Conference Center.
Congratulations to Urban League of Greater Hartford for being the overall winners of the 2013 Skills Challenge!

April 10, 2013 - Career Connections Job
Fair-Students from the year-round Career Connections Program, and other special invited guests participated in a career fair for summer jobs. Over 20 different employers participated including Aetna, The Walker Group, UCONN Health Center and ShopRite East Hartford/Manchester. The employers set up booths to collect resumes from eager student job candidates.
