Hi Pam, here are a couple of flyers that we used for promotions, also check out our website, www.CentralCTChambers.org, there is a link at the bottom of the page and also on our Enews that explains more about our relationship.

Tom is not our board but has presented numerous times to our board and will be doing again either this Dec. or Jan. I am on the Green Jobs Advisory Committee and One Stop Committee.

Regarding transportation, I do not have anything in writing; we were able to get tokens from United Way that we could give to Job Seekers for bus transportation.

I don’t know if I mention, but not only did I do WIA grants on the Business Service Team, prior to that I was a Career Coach working closely with WIA clients for job placements through referrals from CTWORKS Job Coaches.

Cindy,

Does the chamber have a flyer promoting the WIA orientations? And is there anything written on the transportation you all coordinated through United Way for jobseekers going from Bristol to the New Britain One-Stop?

Also, and I’m sorry if some of these seem obvious but I’m fairly new and everyone seems to be out today! - but I know that Tom is on your board, and you are on the Green Jobs Advisory Committee – and I know others can you tell me which committees? Thanks!!
