Jobs Funnel Program Administrative Assistant
The Job Funnel Program Assistant is responsible for managing and implementing, the jobs funnel office procedures, maintenance of the Hartford Connects system and supporting the Jobs Funnel staff and project participants through the completion of clerical tasks and special projects as required.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and input participant’s records and project activities into the Harford Connects system.
- Order supplies and schedule maintenance of office equipment.
- Direct office services such as maintenance, repairs, supplies and files.
- Answer phones, screen phone calls and route incoming correspondence and phone messages.
- Provide front desk reception duties including greeting and directing visitors.
- Maintain filing system.
- Provide TABE test results to project participants by phone or email.
- Provide support to director by writing and typing memos and creating reports.
- Coordinate or assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
The candidate should posses a high school diploma and two (2) years related work experience. The candidate should also be computer literate with Microsoft applications, have effective interpersonal skills both oral and written, excellent organizational and administrative skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and work in a team environment is desired.

Strategic Planner
Capital Workforce Partners (CWP) a non-profit, workforce development board, is seeking an experienced Strategic Planner. This position will be responsible for leading the grant application process, analyzing demographic and labor market information, writing program descriptions, and working closely with program implementation staff. The individual will provide data collection and analysis, labor market research, and analyses in support of business and job seeker needs. In addition, the Strategic Planner will support CWP’s business planning process and additional ad hoc projects as needed.
The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree and five years work experience in strategic planning, research and analysis, and reporting writing. Education and workforce development systems knowledge a plus.
